For the Love of Polish – April

The FTLOP Box for April this year has brought back a fan favorite, Tonic Polish! Lindsey was so happy to come back and the ladies brought us these beautiful customs for this month’s theme. There are flakies and multi chromes in abundance.
FTLOP is a monthly box with 2 staple brands, Polished for Days and Pahish Lacquer.

This month’s theme is Cosmic. In order to stay up to date with the guest makers and launch you must be a member of the FTLOP facebook group.

Off to the Swatches!

First up I have, Pahlish “Starburst” – an azure blue jelly with a flakie bomb mix of iridescent, multichrome, and holographic flakes with a hint of red/copper/green shifting pigment. It is outstanding how these flakies shift and give you all sorts of looks! Starburst reached full opacity in 2 coat and dries to a semi glossy finish.

Next, I have Polished For Days “Moonflower” – a navy base with a strong rose gold shimmer made up of pink-gold-green shifting micro flakes and orange-green shifting micro flakes, pink to green shifting chrome flakes and holographic flakes. This polish is stunning, I want to try it with a black creme base to see if it makes the colors pop how I suspect it will.
Moonflower reaches full opacity in 2-3 coats, I wore 3 coats here and it dries to a semi matte finish.

Finally, I have the guest maker, Tonic Polish “Space Jam” – a dark purple with multichrome shimmer that shifts purple to magenta to gold-green and a little bit of holo sparkle. The gold/green shift does appear at an extreme angle.
Space Jam reaches full opacity in 2 coats and dries to a semi glossy finish. After these photos, I added a holo topper and it made me love it even more!
