Road Not Taken & Leave a Trail – Falloween Group Customs

The Falloween Facebook Group hosted MTK Designs this month for their monthly customs. Mary from MTK being a fall baby is always up for a fallsentric polish. Due to this love she was inspired to make 2 customs for the group. These polishes are only available to group members in order to purchase these customs you will have to join the Falloween Polish Lovers Group.

Preorder Avail: March 16 – 29th | Price: $11.00 (exclusive group price)

Off to the Swatches!

First up is ROAD NOT TAKEN is almost a 4 stage thermal. A dusty french blue (warm) to periwinkle fog (cooling) to bright aubergine (cold); and in extreme cold the aubergine will go just a little bit darker. Road not taken reaches full opacity in 2 coats and will start changing colors even as you apply it.

Mary wanted to capture this eerie yet comfortable feeling from the photo – of this ethereal murky blue fog on an untouched road with it’s pristine leaves. My hands were going through some personal, drama cause I could keep 2 fingers warm and not the other two!

LEAVE A TRAIL is a dark gray (cold) to light fog gray (cool) to bright orangy peach (warm) tri-thermal; with strong linear holo, copper scattered holo glitter, blue & copper shimmers. It reaches full opacity in 2 coats. The coral color does stain, but I was able to remove it with a lye based cuticle cleaner.

I really love neutrals and grey is my neutral, the Coral transition was a lovely surprise. This polish was also a surprise for the group who thought only one custom would be made.

Avail: March 16th | Price: $12.50 (non-exclusive)
