Wizards and Magic, Grace-Full

Grace-Full is releasing a magical collection this weekend! Wizards and Magic is the brand’s first Harry Potter collection, something brand maker Theresa has wanted to do for a long time. I must admit that I started reading the series when I first started talking to Theresa about this collection and am now on the 5th book. I love every single character that inspired this collection!

The Wizards and Magic Collection contains 11 polishes, one thermal, three holos, two metallic flake foils, two multichromes, a magnetic and a shimmer with aurora pigment.

This entire collection is Ahmazing!
Warning: Blog is picture heavy!

This collection will release on 24th February at 8pm AEDT for both the Australian site and international site.

Off to the Swatches!

Chosen One – Inspired by Harry, This could only be a maroon polish! Chosen One is a linear holo with UCC flakes and aurora shimmer that gives a depth to the holo. This is a single *clap coat *clap! This color has great depth that refuses to be captured on the 2 dimensional plane!

Gryffindor’s First Lady (MAGNET)– She needs no introduction the first lady of Gryffindor has to be inspired by Professor McGonagall. It has a forest green base, colourful UCC flakes and light green and gold magnetic pieces.
She reaches full opacity in 2 coats and can be worn with or without the magnetic effect!

Dragon Keeper – Inspired by the gentle giant Hagrid. Dragon Keeper is a multichrome that moves through red, bronze and copper. This color fantastic! I will say this, I had to stop and partake in a glass of wine, because was so camera shy I had to take pictures over again!
This is 2 coats for full opacity.

Keeper of the Diary – this polish was inspired by Ginny’s Yuletide ball gown. It’s a mint green crème holo with a flash of pink with gold flakes scattered throughout. The gold flakes on this makes it the ultimate Tiffany color!
She reaches full opacity in 2 coats and will dry to a semi glossy finish.

Everybody Loves Luna (THERMAL) – well we all do love her, she’s such a fun character. This polish is a bit quirky and it turned out to be a chameleon of sorts. I love the contrast of color temperature changes, but also the shifts of the gold shimmer on the different colors.
The coldest color is a muted pink – purple and as it heats up it moves to a peach – grey. The warmest color is a peach and with gold shimmer throughout it really pops against the peach.

She reaches full opacity in 2 coats and dries to a semi matte finish.

Ginger Ninja – Is inspired by Harry’s best friend Ron this metallic flake foil is full of copper metallic flakes with a smattering of silver flakes for extra shine and sparkle. Now to the magical part, This is ONE coat! These metallic foil formulas are ahmazing!!!

Little Miss Perfect – We all know who this is inspired by! Little Miss Perfect is a multichrome that moves through pink, red and copper. The colors represent Hermione’s Yuletide Ball dress.
She reaches full opacity in 2 coats and has immense amount of depth. There is also a sneaky yellow that comes out in extreme angles!

Sev – a flakie crelly inspired by Severus Snape. Theresa chose to go for the heroic softer side of Snape that is learned later on in the story, hence the name of the polish which is the nickname Lily used for him.
This crelly is a light teal with UCC flakes in blue, purple, teal and navy. Sev reaches full opacity in 2 coats and the sparkle is stunning!

O Dumbledore, My Dumbledore – Dumbledore is Theresa’s ultimate hero, so she stole a line from Dead Poet’s Society to name this polish. This polish has a purple base with green-blue aurora shimmer. Mixed together they make a chameleon of a polish that doesn’t fully show in photos. On different angles you see a glossy change of colors through the blue, green and a hint of purple.
This is 2 coats, but most can easily get away with just 1.

Stan’s Wheels – The Knight Bus inspired this polish. It’s a vibrant purple holo with a pink flash. This is ONE coat! I was amazed when I applied this color, like really just one coat?!?

Unicorn Claret – This is a magical formula of Metallic foil and this is a single coat. It has magical silver flakies with a smattering of holo flakes throughout. I was flabbergasted when I saw the opacity on this stunner!

The Magic will be released on 24th February at 8pm AEDT for both the Australian site and international site.

  1. I really like the foils, Unicorn Claret and Ginger Ninja. But I also adore O Dumbledore, My Dumbledore and Everybody Loves Luna. She went in a really interesting direction with Professor Snape, I can’t see it’s Snape-like to me, but it’s a pretty polish nonetheless.

    1. Sev is very unlike Snape, but this polish always brings me to the scene where he is laying on the grass with Lily looking at the sky.
