In Search of Ourselves – Supernatural

Scroll down to content

Happy Monday! Today I am starting out with this beauty I purchased from the Badass Women theme of Polish Pickup in November. This color spoke to me and I had to have it!

If, by chance you aren’t acquainted with The Polish Pickup (PPU) it is a monthly collection where makers have a theme picked for them by the facebook group and they create custom polishes to match the theme. Upwards of 90+ indie makers participate and create polish and non-polish products.

Every polish has an inspiration and Karen Horney, was the bad ass women who inspired this one. Karen was a German psychoanalyst who practiced in the United States during her later career.
Her theories questioned some traditional Freudian views. This was particularly true of her theories of sexuality and of the instinct orientation of psychoanalysis. Hmm a woman who thinks for herself! I love her!

Off to the Swatches!

In Search Of Ourselves is a light pinky mauve crelly base loaded with green to purple aurora shimmer, blue to purple color shifting flakes, holographic micro shreds and metallic light green flecks.

She reached full opacity in 3 coats and dried to a semi matte finish.

What did you get from PPU?
