Great Lakes Lacquer Polish Con

While at polish con I had to go to Mariah’s table and get to the following polishes before they disappeared. I got “Not all those who wander are lost” which was a small batch that was created by Mariah. Then I also got the polish that left me asking Mariah to adopt me because I was going to lose all my money to her! This beauty is Sun Dappled.

So let’s look at the pretties:

First up is All those who wander…

This cornflower blue crelly is filled with shifting iridescent flakes, some slight scattered holo glitters and blue shimmers. I love this color and it makes me extremely happy while wearing it.

Unfortunately this color is no longer available.

The formula is what you come to expect from GLL, though it’s loaded with flakies, it’s not extremely thick and self levels on the nail.

I used 2 coats for full opacity, Not all who wander… dries to a semi glossy finish, so I added a glossy top coat.

Finally, I have Sun Dappled which is a yellow crelly filled with coppery red shifting shimmer, flakes that mirrors the same shift and finished with a slight scattered holographic.

As a light colored crelly Sun Dappled will require 3 coats for full opacity, it self levels beautifully and when it dries it doesn’t end up thick on the nail.

Sun Dappled is currently available on GLL Shop as part of the Watercolors collection, grab yours before they are gone!
