Polish Con VIP Bag – Part I

My VIP Bag was full of so many beautiful polishes. I had to break my post into 3 parts just to assure I could review them properly.

I think this experience helped me with visiting all the vendor stations while at Polish Con. I would recommend this bag for those who want to meet and greet the makers face to face. There where also some surprises from makers who couldn’t attend in all the bags.

I will post the first 6 polishes I dug out of the bag, let’s get to the swatches!

First up is Supernatural’s Cruel Summer, this neon orange has blue chrome flakies and a strong blue shimmer. This is my very first Supernatural Polish and I love the statement this color makes.

Cruel Summer reaches full opacity in 2 coats and dries to a matte finish. The formula applied smooth and evenly, I topped it off with a glossy top coat.

Next I have Girly Bits Very Important Polish (VIP).

This is another new to me brand I’ve heard great things about this maker and am so happy to finally have one of my very own, VIP is a Burgundy Multi-chrome with Pink, brown and gold shifts and a healthy dose of scattered Holo.

VIP is very opaque and you can reach full opacity in 1 to 2 coats, I am wearing it in 2 coats though I really could have gotten away with just one. This has a semi glossy finish as it dries, I applied a glossy top coat to complete the mani.

Next I have Rogue Lacquer’s VIP2, Rogue is a new line from maker Racheal Ciardi.

VIP2 is grey based holo with a lavender shimmer, UCC Flakies and black glitters. I got full opacity with 3 coats of VIP2, it dries to a semi glossy finish and has rainbows for days!!!

Next is Anchor & Heart’s A New York Frolic.

Frolic is a clear black based blue/purple duo chrome shimmers with scattered holo and pink glitters. The formula on this one is more like that of a topper, I applied 3 coats and didn’t reach full opacity, a black, purple or navy undie would do very well under frolic. It dries to a semi matte finish.

Up next, I have Ever After’s Tight Rope.

Tight Rope is a Dusty Rose with Holo micro glitters and fine pink glitters. Tight Rope reaches full opacity in 2 coats and dries to textured semi matte finish. One coat of glossy top coats covers all the texture.

To round up this blog, I have Glisten & Glow’s Gilded Age of New York.

This plum purple holo with gold shimmer reaches full opacity in one coat! The formula was smooth and covered evenly, the golden shimmer truly replicates the gilded age representing the economic boom!

I’ll be back tomorrow with part 2 of 3 of my VIP bag from Polish Con. This was my first time using most of these brands and I am so impressed with all of them.
