For The Love of Polish

This trio is my very first FTLOP box and I couldn’t be happier! In it I have 2 new to me polish brands that I have been lusting after for some time now.

This month the featured maker is Blush Lacquers, FTLOP is a monthly box with 2 staple brands, Polished for Days and Pahish Lacquer, This is a new partnership as the previous maker was Illyrian Polish. This month’s theme is 1980’s. In order to stay up to date with the guest makers and launch you must be a member of the FTLOP facebook group.

Without further adieu here are the polishes:

First I have “The Final Countdown“ from Pahlish – a moody aqua grey with scattered holographic and a glowing purple to copper multichrome shimmer.

The formula was buttery soft and applied easily. This is 2 coats and a QDTC, the polish itself dries to a semi matte finish and requires a topcoat for a glossy finish.

Next up I have “Karma Chameleon” from Polished For Days – a bright purple base with a turquoise to purple to blue duochrome shift and holographic flakes.

This shift on this one is a sight! The movement goes from Turquoise to Purple to Blue to a Brick Red. The application was smooth and reached full opaqueness in 2 coats. The formula will dry to a semi matte state and will need a topcoat for a glossy finish.

This is most definitely a chameleon!

Finally, this month’s guest maker Blush Lacquer brought us “Synthwave Diva” – a blackened blue, emphasis on the black, base with a strong pink-red shimmer, rainbow multi-chrome flakes and scattered holo.

To look at this polish you wouldn’t believe it’s a black base, your first coat will erase that thought from your mind.

This beauty reaches full opacity in 2 coats and will need a top coat for a glossy finish.

I am so happy I was able to grab this box up this month and stop watching from the sidelines.
