Bee’s Knees Lacquer – Halloween colors

Today I received my first order from a new indie brand called Bee’s Knees Lacquer, I’ve been watching this brand develop over the last couple of months and decided to try them.

I was not disappointed.

My order was placed on a Sunday and I received my package the following Thursday. During the time I ordered Sarah was running a free shipping promotion and I didn’t add the discount code, I had forgotten, but without any prompt there was a quick refund to my order for the shipping.

At first I was confused and then I went back to her IG and saw the promo. Nice!

The packaging is one of the cutest I have received, the polishes came in little cloth pouches in Halloween theme along with a bee 🐝 and ghost 👻 erasers. Everything had a bee icon which brought everything together.

I ordered “I’m so Bored” from the American Horror Story trio and “All Holo’s Eve” cause I’m a sucker for Holo and cause Holo!

Ok, on to the swatches!

First up is I’m so Bored, this is a White crelly with purple and brow flakies and a red shimmer.

The application on this one impressed me because it was pretty even at one coat and pretty opaque. At 2 coats it was completely opaque and no streaks!

I have nail art in mind for this one which I’ll do soon.

Swatches are all 2 coats polish and a quick dry top coat.

Next, is my favorite of the two. All Holo’s Eve. This stunning Pumpkin linear holo with a strong pink undertone is pretty much a sparkly nude against my skin tone.

The application for All Holo’s Eve is one coat, it becomes completely opaque in one coat. I added a second coat because I’m a creature of habit and I loved how it deepened the color.

I absolutely love this one.

The holo is strong in this one. I used 2 coats of polish though you can really get away with just one and a quick dry top coat.

I am very pleased with my purchase and will surely go back for more of these polishes.

Thank you Sarah for such a great product!

Thanks for reading!
